樹窿電話亭 Treehole Phonebooth

Treehole Phone Booth

A public installation for grief and loss

Listen to stories of loss, grief and death. This is also your own quiet corner, where you can safely share the stories you have never spoken.

How to use the phone booth

Welcome to the Treehole Phone Booth

Let Serrini's voice guide you

Serrini shares her own experiences of loss and grief, accompanying you as you explore life, goodbyes and healing.

Listen to other people's stories

Pick up the receiver and listen to real stories from people you have never met. In this quiet corner in the hustling city, you may find that someone else has known a loss like yours, and that someone is willing to listen.

Leave your story anonymously

Share your own story without giving your name. You can choose to have it saved and shared with the next person who finds their way to the phone booth, creating a quiet connection between strangers.

Receive a handwritten reply

Some things are hard to say out loud. Write what is on your mind on a postcard, place it in the Grief Mailbox and leave a return address. We will write back to every letter by hand, so that each person who reaches out receives a kind, thoughtful response.

Every story deserves to be heard. No one has to carry their grief alone.
